Who ever thought we would be in the vending machine business!
We never did. Like many others, the dream of owning our own business
has been forefront on our minds. Over the years, health issues
and the strain of working for others just heightened the desire
to be independent workers. With our children at the University
of Oregon and Princeton at the same time, the ever-skyrocketing
tuition costs led us to move beyond the "pipe dream"
and to look at various opportunities to make some more money now.
Of course the challenge was, we were both working full-time already.
Great ideas surfaced but the combination of time and a very limited
cash flow to put into a new start-up business, left us feeling
deflated. Just like an answer to our prayers, someone contacted
us about an opportunity to become a part of the Antares family.
The concept was very appealing to us and it seemed to fit the
profile we were looking for. After gathering more information,
we recently signed on. The anxiety of "where do I start"
was removed as we were guided through the process. We decided
to purchase five machines and like parents on Christmas Eve, we
were quickly at work, setting the machines up. Once again, the
information we received made the entire process an easy one. We
found ourselves admiring our purchases, we felt confidant, and

of excitement is building up inside as I write about this. We
